## Who it serves

- Geography: Mohawk Valley / Central New York — Utica, Rome, Herkimer, New Hartford, Whitesboro, Ilion, Little Falls, Clinton, Frankfort, Oneida
- Spring travel: boys, grades 5–11 (12th invite only)

## Home venue

Herkimer College, 100 Reservoir Road, Herkimer, NY 13350 — three courts in one building. Also used for hosted tournaments and Saturday skills training. Other practice venues used: Borza Recreation Center, Elevate CNY.

MVE is a service-area program, not a walk-in storefront. Do not treat the college as a public office address.

## What is current (2026-08-13)

- 2026 16U team: double national champions (Zero Gravity National Finals and Made Hoops Nationals), coached by James Healy
- 2027 spring tryouts: dates not yet announced. Families should register interest at https://portal.mvebasketball.com/tryouts so they are notified when dates are set. Walk-up on tryout day is also available.
- Hosted tournaments: two events planned at Herkimer College, $185/team, boys grades 5–Varsity, two games guaranteed. Dates not yet announced. Interest forms are on https://mvebasketball.com/tournaments
- Saturday skills training: summer 2026 block ran June 20–August 8 at Herkimer College and is finished. Last-block price was $15 middle school / $20 high school. Next-block dates will be posted at https://mvebasketball.com/training
- 2027 season registration fee: not yet published; it is announced with tryout dates. No player is turned away for cost.
